The Importance of Positive Thinking

Once you make up your mind, you can do almost anything. This is a fact of life that everyone should appreciate.

Whatever it is that you decide you can and cannot do, has a large influence on how you live your life. Whatever it is you do in your lifetime, your occupation, your friendships, and interactions with others; all of things (even your wealth status), stem from your own mindset.

The inner person inside you is the one that guides your thoughts that only you, yourself can hear. This is the force that drives you in whatever direction you go.

Believe it or not, these musings, and these decisions, are the turning points of your life. In order to establish the truth of this statement, we will drill down a little further to see what we can uncover.

We all aspire toward things we think we cannot have, like a beautiful motor boat or something. But if we just look and dream but think to ourselves that it is beyond our means, then that makes it so. We will never even try to own that boat. This negative sort of thinking is just that; negative, and you do not achieve anything positive with negative thinking.

Unfortunately, too many of us think negative thoughts similar to this, such as: “I am never going to be able to get out of debt”, or, “that particular job is way out of my league”. But if we were to think more positively instead of being so negative, what might happen as a result?

You will find that if you begin to think more positively, positive things will begin to happen. Why not just try it and see? If ever you find yourself thinking negatively, stop yourself; turn your thoughts around, and start to think in positive terms.

Positive thinking in 5 easy steps

Motivating yourself to excel at your job or to be an example to your employees, should not be something you do only when the spirit moves you. It’s an ongoing process that should include every facet of your business life. This means your mental attitude, physical well-being and appearance, work atmosphere, your interaction with others (clients and employees alike), and your off-the-job environment.

Motivational experts get paid big bucks to tell professionals, striving for success, that they must constantly examine these factors. How do you do that? Follow the 5 tips that follow, and watch the changes.

Maintain a Positive Attitude – Let’s realize that life is only 10% of what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. We’re responsible for our own actions and attitudes, and changing them when appropriate. When you’re around people/things that are uplifting and positive, you feel that way. You have more confidence in yourself, and know you can change whatever needs changing. If you can make your workplace such a place you’ll find happier workers and higher production. You might even find your employees look forward to coming to work!

Leave Personal Troubles Home – Everyone has problems, but they don’t belong at work. Turn your attention and energy entirely to your on-the-job tasks. This will actually be good for you because you’ll get a mental break from your troubles.
Create Positive Affirmations – The reason for writing goals for your business is the same as creating positive affirmations on paper. What your eyes see and ears hear, your mind will believe. Try it! After you’ve written them down, read them aloud to yourself – and do it every morning when you get into work. You’ll be amazed at what happens. Come up with a set of new ones every month. Statements such as, “I’m an important and valuable person,” or “I know I’ll make good use of my time today.” Repeating them out loud everyday at a set time will help reinforce positive actions.

Make Sure Break Times Are Really Break Times – This is an area where most bosses/entrepreneurs fall down. You become so intense about the project or situation you’re working on that you don’t ease up. Thinking that it’ll be solved in the next few seconds, and then you’ll get a cup of coffee can lead you right up to quitting time. Regularly adhering to a specified break schedule, even if you’re the boss, releases the tension. If you work on a computer this is even a greater problem because before you realize it – you’ve been working in that same position for hours. The best answer to this is to set yourself a reminder on your appointment calendar for every 2 hours, and let the computer reminder chime send you the alert to move around.

Exercise, Exercise, Exercise – I know that lately it seems that “exercise” is the cure-all to every physical ailment or your love life, but despite that there is some truth to that ugly word. By “exercise” I don’t mean that you should go out and join a gym and spend your lunch-time, 3-days-a-week there working out. What is really beneficial and workable is that at those chiming alerts from your computer, get up and walk around your desk or room. Maybe go outside and get the mail and enjoy the sunlight (if you’re an entrepreneur that has a home office), or just get up and do a few stretches. Concentrated, tense thinking – typing – plotting plans – or whatever your work, makes all those muscles tighten up and knot up. Then when we move we “ooh” and “ouch” because we’ve knotted up into a ball of tension. Periodic stretching, even at our desk, or just getting up and walking over to the window and getting a different view can help. One of the greatest disservice modern business décor has done to us, is making our offices pristine, sleek, unencumbered spaces. There is nothing more relaxing than getting up from your desk and walking over to a peaceful, serene, seascape or pastoral painting and just drinking it in visually. Momentarily transporting your mind out of work and into that place does wonders. A few good paintings and less shiny chrome in offices would benefit us all.

It only takes a little concentrated effort on our part to keep motivated and productive, which leads to success. I know you’re going to hate hearing this, but it’s true anyway – and that is, “WHEN LIFE GIVES YOUR LEMONS – MAKE LEMONADE!”

Positive thinking

Because our thought process is constantly working, the Law of Attraction is constantly working as well. Many of our thoughts are at the unconscious level, so we’re not always aware of what type of energy those thoughts may be creating.

According to the Law of Attraction, if you want something enough and you truly believe it’s possible for you to have it, you’ll probably get it. But the same is true for negative thoughts.

If you spend a lot of time thinking on the things you don’t want or fear, and you believe it’s possible for you to experience them, it’s just as likely they’ll come your way. You can’t avoid unpleasant things by hoping they don’t happen.

Your unconscious is literal and produces negative energy the same as it does positive energy. It doesn’t know the difference. Your unconscious mind doesn’t understand “I don’t want”.

To truly achieve the positive benefits of the Law of Attraction, you have to become aware of what you’re focusing your attention on.

Are you focusing on what you want? Or don’t want? Do you have thoughts or beliefs that are contrary to what you want? If you truly want something, but feel you don’t really deserve it, those thoughts will be translated into energy, and the Universe will “feel” that you don’t deserve it.

Becoming aware of what you’re spending your energy on, enables you to change it. Allowing you to focus all your thoughts on the things you really want.

What are the Three Keys to Self-Improvement and Motivation

Effectively succeed in the most important factors for self improvement and motivation for small business owners. You will accomplish more in less time when you focus on three of the most important factors.

1) INSPIRATION
You need inspiration to keep you motivated and intent on improving yourself. If you are not as interested in your business as you should be, your motivation level will be lower than it can be and you will not be able to sustain interest for long periods.

Take an honest look at your inspiration level. Are you excited about going to work or is it an obligation? Many people choose to go into a business because on paper, it looks profitable, but when they actually go into it, they find it does not interest them.

If you are one of these people, you will grow weary and uninterested quickly because you have no inspiration or passion to sustain you during the difficult times you will encounter as a small business owner.

If you do not like your work, not to worry. There are probably ways that you can re-focus your business to match your interests and thus develop a passion in it, which will help you stay inspired. Think of ways to do this, and if you truly can not, consider making a clean break and starting something new. You might be able to sell it if it is reasonably well established and could turn a profit for someone who is interested in it, so you might be able to recoup some of your investment this way. But do not try to stay with it if you just have no interest and cant turn it into something you can be passionate about, because without inspiration, you will not be motivated to even try self- improvement.

2) SET GOALS
Short and long-term goal setting is vital for any business owner. If you do not set goals, you have no definite purpose and no clear path to take. It is impossible to be motivated if you are not sure about the direction your company is taking.

Take the time to put your goals in writing. A business plan may sound daunting, but it is really nothing more than putting goals, strategies, implementation plans, and a budget in writing. Write your own business plan and update it at least annually.

Include mini-goals that can be accomplished in a matter of hours, days, or weeks. Include more ambitious grand-goals that may take years to complete. Refer to this plan throughout the year.

Can a business plan really help motivate you? Of course! Written goals will make you feel more professional and certainly more connected to your business. It will also free you from having to reinvent your business goals every single day.

3) NETWORKING
Another key factor in getting and staying motivated is to network with other small business owners and collaborate with those who have expertise you dont. You can not possibly know all the information you need to understand every facet of your business, at least not at first. Use expertise of others to build on your own. You will conquer challenges you could not have alone, and you will likely help others do the same.

Networking also helps offset the solitary working conditions many entrepreneurs face as well. In fact, working alone can be one of most difficult parts of being an entrepreneur. You can never truly succeed without the help of others, and you will need to return the favor and offer your own assistance, too. Mutual support is motivating.

Make life easier by connecting with others either within your community or online. Even when businesses are not related, you will often find common ground and ways to work together.

Many successful entrepreneurs report that finding the right networking group was a turning point in the growth of their business. When a networking group works together, it can help its members generate more qualified sales leads, for instance, and solve problems faster and more efficiently.

Sharing ideas, expertise, and experience is also an invaluable aspect of motivation and self-improvement. Your own personal team of business owners will help re-energize you when the burdens of running your own business seem too much.

And with your networking team to rely on, you can accomplish more in less time and probably have more fun in the process!

Spiritual healing

The Power of Spiritual Healing

Most people associate spirituality with religion. It is defined as the recognition of a god whom one can create a great relationship with. The god is the provider of everything that gives life-long happiness to manóhappiness, love, peace, security, justice and everything else. Furthermore, spiritual healing is the transferring of natural energy from a healer to his subject. In general, the healing process has something to do with faith and when the subject believes that he can be healed, his mind, body and soul work together to achieve good health. There are certain times that this healing process does not need the healer. The patient just needs to heal himself through a deep prayer of your own.

Spiritual healing does not focus only on the physical body of the patient. It includes the mind and his spirit. When you undergo spiritual healing, you get to gain peace of mind, self confidence, security, safety and the most important is the capacity to give and receive the unconditional love which is so hard for other people to share to others. Then, you will be guided with your life. You will be able to know the solutions to your problems and you find them easier to handle because you know that you have a god who is always there to provide you with guidance.

The healer is absolutely useless if the patient himself is not participating in the activity. This process needs full attention because this will never work if you do not have focus on what you want to achieve. You must know the reason why you want to undergo spiritual healing. You should be serious with what you are actually doing because this will really change your entire life and the way you live it.

The good thing about spiritual healing is that it can really help you whatever problem you are undergoingóspiritual, physical, mental or emotional. The process of healing does not end on the healing stage itself. It is only the beginning of everything. You do the rest of the processes by yourself. These processes are characterized by strengthening your relationship with God. You must involve yourself in religious activities. You also take in consideration not just your relationship with God but your relationship with your neighbors as well. This helps you live a clean life and eventually, you will live your life peacefully for the better.

Manifesting Abundance: What’s it all about?

No one has ever thought of wealth, money, or abundance to be unlimited. Kids are always the witness of their parentsí arguments regarding financial problems or the lack of resources. People have an idea on what will come about if there is too much desire for money and what the others can possibly do. People are never satisfied. Because of their ìwantsî, they continue wanting for more. The law of attraction states that ìyou wish for the things that your thoughts focused on.î With this manifesting principle, you desire for money or abundance that leads you to wanting it more even though you are not actually creating it at all.

This law is considered as a natural law for the reason that it is part of the workings of the universe. Meaning, you are always dealing with it whether you like it or not. Abundance or prosperity is scarce or limited in reality because we have accepted this fact by experiencing a number of hardships that even includes financial problems. People are already used to this way of thinking. With manifesting abundance, you can draw abundance to you just like the same way you have unconsciously pulled scarcity towards you.

One of the steps in manifesting abundance is to come up with a decision on accepting and recognizing abundance that is rightfully yours. Utter an affirmation and keep on repeating it as many times as possible. It would be better if you could say it out loud and sound like you really believe in the affirmation.

One of the best ways of manifesting abundance is to perform visualization. In order to do visualization, you can look for clippings that you think are very appealing. It would be much better if these pictures are what you truly desire to see and experience in your life. After collecting pictures, organize the pictures and form it to a collage. Look at the collage more often so that you will be reminded of your goals. Another way of manifesting abundance is the making of a mind movie. In making a mind movie, there is no need to fret since there is the availability of a software program that can assist you in making these amusing movies quickly and effortlessly. The collage and the mind movie are just examples of tools that will definitely be of great help for you to manifest abundance.

When it comes to manifesting abundance, it is a good idea to focus your mind on your desires. Having a clear understanding about what the law of attraction is really about is the first major step in bringing abundance in oneís life!

Wealth is the most important item to success that everyone wants to obtain and retain. There are many methods to obtaining wealth and they are never easy. You need to be dedicated to what you want to obtain. The amount of wealth to make you happier in life is numerous. There is no such chance of obtaining enough money to make you happier. There is always a need for more. This is a temptation that needs to be avoided or you will loose sight of your initial goal. That goal is to obtain you wealth.

Attracting wealth is achieved in many ways. Working is the only method we could obtain money. Being optimistic that you are open to wealth is very important also. When we are optimistic to wealth, then the chance opens up and allows for the opportunity. You need to be aware there can be negative influences that can prevent you from wanting the wealth. Thoughts like ìI am not a good person to deserve all the moneyî will crush your desires to attracting wealth. These types of thoughts are unwelcomed and often will result in dire consequences. There is no room for negative thoughts.

Remember to always think of the emotions that go when you will obtain the wealth. Happiness is acquired when you get to spend the money that has been obtained. It is not fun to earn money than it is to spend it. Having the emotion of wealth in your mind is always going to help you understand the right method you want to take to attracting wealth. When you are attracting wealth, you are a happier person. When you loose focus, you loose focus on your desires. This is never a good idea.

Be aware that there are not all bright ideas and that they all need to be tested. Having a thought of wealth will keep your mind focused.
